The Hazara Shamama Association proudly hosted the 2025 Hazara Cultural Day, bringing together approximately 650–700 community members in a vibrant celebration of Hazara heritage, identity, and unity. The event marked a significant moment for the community, showcasing cultural pride through music, art, and shared experiences.

The evening was honoured by the presence of Julian Hill, Federal Member for Bruce and Cassandra Fernando, Federal Member for Holt whose thoughtful and inspiring remarks resonated deeply with attendees. Their support and engagement highlighted the importance of multicultural communities and inclusive representation.

A standout feature of the night was the powerful performance by Ustad Rajab Ali Haidari, whose music captivated the audience and created a deeply emotional connection. The celebration was further enriched by performances from talented singers Mehran and Asghar Ali Asha, and instrument along with their team, who brought energy and joy to the event.

The Association also extends special appreciation to the skilled instrumentalists Ishtiaq, Zakir, and Habib Sahadat, whose musical contributions added depth and richness to the performances throughout the evening.

The Association also acknowledged the valuable contributions and partnerships of John Gulzari from Music, Arts & Culture of Hazara Identity in Dandenong, Noyan Begzad Batoor, and Sakhi. Their collaboration played an important role in making the event a success.
