Hazara Shamama Association was deeply honoured to host a heartfelt welcome dinner in celebration of a true literary icon, Naser Nader, whose poetry has travelled across oceans carrying with it love, longing, memory, and the spirit of our people.
The evening marked not only the privilege of welcoming him to our community, but also the celebration of the launch of his three new books - another remarkable contribution to Hazara literature and cultural heritage.
Surrounded by distinguished guests from the worlds of literature, music, business, and community leadership, the gathering became a beautiful reflection of the respect and admiration held for his work across many circles.
As always, Naser Nader was accompanied by his beloved wife, alongside his respected brother Javed Nader, and Qasim Khedri, whose presence added warmth and honour to the evening.
Throughout the night, his words filled the room and hearts alike. One of the many unforgettable verses shared was:
مَنِه آغیل مه عطر مُوی تو باشه
دلِم غرقِ کجی ابروی تو باشه
سرِ دنیا نمیزنُم رَی عزیزم
اگه سرمه بَلی زانوی تو باشه
As the evening unfolded, time seemed to slip away, and with every poem recited, saying goodbye became more difficult.
What we shared was far more than an event, it was a night of connection, reflection, culture, and unity.
A night that reminded us of the enduring power of poetry to preserve identity, stir emotion, and bring hearts together.
